Raleigh’s Story

When I came to The Safe place in 2018, I had been facing terrible drug addiction. Drug addiction had literally destroyed many relationships with family. It also had cost me many jobs. When I wasn’t using, I did perform well. The problem was that I found when I tried to stop, I could not stop.

I was getting worse consequences, and eventually, I was in the court system again. I was given another chance from God. I did some work in a 12 step program that The Safe Place asked me to do. With the help of the direction from God and the staff here. I have been elevated to a life I would not trade for anything. Thank you for letting me come here and participate.
